Maybe it's the fact that both have way more experience then Obama, I mean Bill Richardson was only the U.S ambassador for the Clinton years, not to mention he has been governor of new Mexico for so many years now.He has a great amount of support form Hispanic Americans, whom by the way make up a good 10% of the vote. Back in the last election..Howard Dean was the primary favorite candidate and yet look at what happened. It's really anybodies game.....Personally as a responsible voter recognize that the big issue in 08' will be Iraq, foreign policy is huge and frankly the only one with enough experience is Bill Richardson. I AM FROM CALIFORNIA AND I SUPPORT BILL RICHARDSON.
Hillary is a hypocrite who's only getting attention because of her last name and oh yea..she's a woman..
Obama's great guy, but that's it. He has no record to show anything. Plus it's unfortunate he is labeled as a 'black candidate' and not a regular candidate...u know what I mean.

well, why not? they are probably near 3 and 4 with the dems...
Obama's nice and all... and Hillary has the early lead... but A LOT can happen between now and then... and if you think it's over already... you've not payed a lot of attention to politics before...
Hillary has SOO MUCH BAGGAGE and Obama has little experience...
and in terms of running a candidate that can win... I think Edwards has the best chance to beat a Republican... that's why the Repubicans hate him... they don't have any real issue with him... only minor ones like "he built a big house"... "he seems slimy", "he's an evil lawyer" and "he hired a bad blogger"... that's about all I've heard... none of which are real reasons that have any issues at all... or anything to do with politics...
I mean if Edwards is going up against Rudy.. and he's from the south... I think it puts the south in play... Rudy's liberal social stances... and he's from NYC... it could be interesting...
I don't see Richardson being as big... because to be frank, he's hispanic... and EVERYONE knows... the south won't go for a minority... that's just the facts... so if you go with a minority... poof, the south goes with it... and when Rudy may be running, the south could be up for grabs...
the Republicans have to have the south... put it into play... they will feel the heat...

No way, i'd not at all vote for them... i'm a reliable Republican yet that does no longer advise i love each thing President Bush says or does. i'm a wide fan of Newt Gingrich and wish to make sure him run, yet i'm able to comprehend if he would not. I do in simple terms not trust in what John Edwards and bill Richardson trust in, I help the warfare regardless of if issues favor to be stepping into a special excess of there and the President isn't coping with anymore the way it is going to probable be. i trust that abortion is a severe crime adverse to humanity and should be abolished to "maximum" extents and gay marriage is in simple terms incorrect, it became Adam and Steve yet Adam and Eve chum. i trust Newt would make the acceptable conceivable commander in chief on the prompt, notwithstanding the race for 2008 hasn't truly even began to warmth up yet. So until eventually that factor comes i can not decrease back absolutely everyone one hundred%.

Because Hillary won't make it , there are too many people that don't like her . Obama won't make it because Hillary is already starting to pull the rug out from under him. So Edwards and Richardson will probably be the last ones standing.

I wouldn't vote for Edwards because he was with Kerry in the last election, but not as smart as Kerry. He was so sure they would win that he resigned his seat. Kerry didn't. Edwards is just looking for a job. To me he comes across like a snake oil salesman. Thinks he's pretty cute too. Richardson evidently has too much money and nowhere to spend it. I don't think he has a chance. Both are way to lib. for me.

Mostly wishful thinking, but who knows with the press savaging Clinton and Obama and the possibility Clinton & Obama may do that to each other, one of these guys may slip through. Who would have thought old Skull & Bones Kerry would have won in the beginning of that race? Maybe Bush Sr. has another disciple he plans to sneak in for 2008.' It is way too early to tell. It is possible the party has someone else chosen and we don't know who that is yet.

Probably not, due to lack of exposure. They would make awesome V.P. candidates, though.
