I probably have to get contacts, and I wanted to know some more things about them. I was thinking about getting Acuvue.. is that a good brand? Leave all of your comments here about your thoughts on contacts.

i use acuvue oasys which are really really nice b/c i don't even feel them in my eyes! the other kind i've used (proactive) usually make my eyes dry out but oasys don't! i've used acuvue for about 4 or 5 years now. good luck and hope that helped! =D

I got my first pair of contacts in 1963 for my 17Th birthday and I've loved them from day one! Back then they were the hard ones and I had to take them out every night. In 1990 I started wearing the soft ones that I could leave in 24/7 for 2 weeks at the time and I loved them even more. They were the Acuvue, then about 3 years ago I started wearing the Acuvue 2 which I wear until they start getting dry and that's about every 6 weeks. I have always worn the clear ones, but my granddaughter wears the colors that she can change when she wants to. If you are wondering if you will like them, you should try them because I know you will love them. They are very comfortable and you will not even feel them on your eyes. Take it from me, you will be happy you have them. You will have better vision with them because with glasses you have little peripheral vision but with contacts you don't have that break on the sides. Try them!

I have been wearing contacts for 17 years... and they were all pretty much Acuvue. I'm currently wearing the Acuvue Hydraclear Oasys ones.. they're pretty good.. I have really sensitive eyes too.. But do take them out at the end of the day, b/c if accidently slept with you do pay the price of the contacts literally glued to your eyeballs! (I hate that feeling!) and you can't get them out until you've watered your eyes.
By boyfriend wears the night and day ones.. They're very expensive, but you dont have to take them out at night.. Just take them out once every 2 weeks..
I love contacts.. but I am planning on Lasik as soon as I've saved a little money. I'm just getting tired of the taking out and putting them in.. Also, take a break and try and use your glasses when you're at home, or reading.. this gives the eyes a chance to breathe..

I've had contacts on and off for five years, always Acuvue. I've had no problems with them. I have to take them out to sleep, but there are some you don't. I much prefer them to my glasses.

hi..ive been wearing lenses for over a year..its not tested ones coz i hav gud sight..they are colored ones..
the brand name is freshlook and i love them...
