I'm planning on going to Russia in a few weeks and need to bring some gifts to people of different ages (30ish, 50ish), both men and women. Seems like they have a much nicer variety of things (like perfumery, foods - they are much closer to Europe and all the refined goods). Still, what would be nice to bring that they don't have and will be interesting? The price is not really a question, the most important thing for me here is that it's original and memorable (some kind of a souvenir or something). I'm usually pretty good on iedas of this kind, but not this time... Please, help!!!

As i understand your Russian friends are good income people and they live nice life. If it is gift for somebody who is younger I would suggest IPod or something like this. For woman I would offer you to buy some really nice chocolads, may be fine alcohol.

good closes and electronics are suitable
(gadgets, PDA, i-tune, notebook).
It cost in Russia 1.5 - 2 time more then in US.
