Depends on where you work. I am only allowed 3 sick days a year where I work, and even if you are in the hospital as an inpatient, you get points against you for being sick. 6 days would be enough to get me a 3 day suspension and then I would have to work an extra 12 days to get rid of the points, their choice of days, not mine. My previous employer allowed 6 sick days a year, but they had to be a minimum of 60 days apart or you would get a warning, and 3 warnings would get you fired. Teachers on the other hand, get 10-12 sick days a year and only work 8 months out of the year.

They should'nt be too worried, if they are a decent company. I have been off sick since last October (quite a serious illness I would add), and my company have been totally supportive throughout. I'm so lucky to work for such an understanding firm. I'm on the mend now and hope to be back to work within the next couple of weeks. Even then, my boss has told me to take things easy until I am fully recovered.

I don't know each company is different. I get 7 days of sick time per year that is actually accrued at a rate of 1.08 hours per week that I save up.
In addition I get 3 weeks of vacation time which I believe I could use as sick time if I wanted to.
I have also only been with this company of mine for 3.5 years

Yes I think that they will be a little concerned, especially due to the gaps between your sickness. Why not approach you bosses with your concerns at least this way they will be able to see that you a genuine and that you don't like having time of work and that you are worried about your job.

I think 6-8 days of sick days per year may be pretty normal for many employees. But if you go over 10 days, do get concerned. Most companies like employees who are rarely out sick. It costs them alot of money. Especially for those who always are absent on MOndays, I would think about if you do not like your job because you go back to work on MOnday.

it sounds alot but really it isn't my hubby never had a day off in 14 years sick and last year had 9 weeks off his company were great coz they knew he wasn't faking it. If you are ill, you are ill just concentrate on getting better. if you have too much time off (most companys say 21 days) they will pull you up.

its not a lot really, but as an employer i'm always concerned more about odd days here and there, rather than a whole week for a bad flu. i wouldn't worry though, as a lot of people take a lot more for a lot less!.

6 days noted as in interior the 1st 3 months of employment ... and you think of you could sue them? they could desire to deliver a greater healthful against you for dropping their supplies training you! i might anticipate a typical worker to have 5 ill days ... in a freaking twelve months! based on your overall performance your business enterprise could desire to seem forward to 24 ill days in step with twelve months out of you. maximum suitable to diminish the losses early and enable the deadwood flow. you haven't any longer have been given to any extent further healthful, yet seem on the mind-blowing area! as long as there are bridges you will constantly have a house!

how well do you wash your hands????
quit sharing pens with other people, use hand sanitizer more frequently or wash your hands, clean your phones and computer equipment before and during every shift. take better care of yourself by eating a healthy diet and reducing your stress levels.
if you are around young children, God help you. they are carriers of every disease known to man and transmit it thru their snot, saliva, tears, and other body fluids.
