It'd be pronounced "My" as in it would rhyme with "thai."
If you wanted something that sounded like "mya" try the spelling of "Maia" or "Maya."

I would definitely pronounce it either 'My' or 'May'
It can't be Mia or Mya because the A isn't at the end. 'ai' makes a 'eye' sound like in 'thai', or occasionally an 'ay' sound because the i stands in for the y.
I think you could name a child that and say you want it pronounced Mia or Mya but I'm pretty sure everyone would get it wrong, and your child will have to spend her whole life correcting people.
I'd stick with the spellings Mia or Mya for those names. Mia being pronounced Mee-ah and Mya being pronounced My-ah.

my first impression was Mia (My-Uh) spelled either mia or mya. Also the second thought was it could be pronounced May, and then third it could be pronounced My. I would recommend changing the spelling to most closely resemble what you are intending it too- just so the child doesn't have to go through life correcting most people. I like the name though if it is Mia or May.

Mai (MY , MAY)
I don't think that it would work for Mia or Mya.
My favorite spellings of those two names are Mia and Maya.

I would pronounce it "mai" as in the month, or "my" as in the drink - mai tai (my tie). As the "i" comes after the "a", I don't think it should be meeya or mya.

Mai is used quite a lot in Scandinavia. We pronounce it like my.
It is a lovely name, that actually means May (the month) in Norwegian.
