you are comparing the t5600 v/s the t7200
if you are meaning the intel core 2 duo processors

complete specs as below
t5600
1.83 ghz, 667 mhz, 2 mb l2 cache, 34 watts

t7200
2.00 ghz, 667 mhz, 4 mb l2 cache, 34 watts

yes, the t7200 is a far superior processor & if u'r spending on the t5600, it's worth saving & buying the t7200

clock speed is marginally higher
actual difference is the l2 cache, which is 4 mb v/s 2 mb > which is significant & does matter in actual computing !

Well, obviously there's a difference by .17 ghz. But, it doesn't really make a difference. Perhaps you'd get it a fraction of a second faster which doesn't really matter. You're just gonna waste your money buying the 2.00. In fact, ur gonna waste ur money buying a dual core. Unless you want to play a high def game.

No. Under 10%.
Even less for the entire computer system.

just speed but it all depends on what you do with your comp if you just surf the internet and listen/download music then you wont notice a big difference but if your doing some hardcore gaming they you might see alittle difference between the two it all depends on the FSB the higher the FSB the faster it will be.

i overclocked my Vaio 1.73ghz to a 1.93ghz and it runs programs alittle faster but no that much difference
