Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to pick my career.

I have a double bachelor's degree in business and arts, with a double major in English & Small Business. I went to a good college and have really good grades. I did a student exchange for a year, plus have held part-time jobs throughout.

Now I'm looking for a full-time job and have no idea what to do. I like creative writing and filmmaking, and I have an entrepreneurial personality. I hate working 9-5 in an office (tried it!) and like to set my own rules. Once I'm in control, I'm very efficient and proactive.

I live in New Zealand so creative industries that interest me (like filmmaking) are very limited here.

What should I do with my life???

Well, I think that you know you will eventually be a writer of some sort... now, on a more practical side, I would actually just recommend some up and coming sector of the kiwi economy, whatever it might be, just for the experience of being part of a "growth industry"... either that, or get paid to fight against capitalism...

If i was you i would choose where I wanted to live and then search for jobs available in the area. For instance film making in New Zealand dosen't fit but in Hollywood you might stand a chance.

Having a good education allows you to choose the area.

What really helped me find the focus of my career was volunteering. It gave me the opportunity to try different things without committing to them, and certainly helped me "weed out" a few options!

I don't know what the volunteering situation in NZ is, or whether it is commonplace at all, but you might consider it - if you can afford to give away your time for free!

Sorry I can't offer anything more concrete. Good luck!

Go back to school. You sound like a professional student.
