Depends on if you believe in fate...I do...therefore, I would say that you can try all you want to create yourself but you will always end up (eventually) being who you were meant to be.
It is more important to find yourself...it gives you more time in this precious life to figure out what you want to do with yourself and this life. It also saves you the time of lying to yourself--like some of us do (me included)--about who you are.

Find yourself. You can't create something out of nothing; therefore, you must know who you are before you re-create.

Find myself. I'm very happy with who I am, my abilities, thoughts, confidence. Sometimes, in this craziness of life I've let my interest and myself become 2nd to being a Mom and Wife. Sometimes, I just need more time in a day.

Both! It’s important for me to find myself: I must understand my strength and weakness. It’s also important for me to create myself: I must create a good image for myself that makes me distinct from others and I must turn my weakness into my strength.

I believe those are actually synonymous.
You can't create something you never found. So I would have to say create if I had to choose.
