There are so many beautiful places, it is almost impossible to pick just one. But your question brings to mind an experience I had. At my grandmother's funeral I had the opportunity to get reacquainted with all of my cousins. There are 26 of us. We decided to get together at my uncle's beach house in ST. Augustine Fla. the upcoming summer. I drove down from Little Rock and arrived very late at night. It was a moonless night and my cousin who lives in St. Augustine asked if I wanted to walk down to the ocean. I can hardly describe the 'awesomeness' of standing at the edge of the ocean and not being able to see a single thing because it was so black on that moonless night. There were a gazillion stars out, and the depth and richness of the sound of the ocean was just so powerful. It truly was a humbling experience. I will never forget that night as long as I live. It really made me sure that there is a greater power than myself in this universe.

Beaches: South of France, San Diego, and Mexico
Mountains: Denver and Boulder
Lakes: Southwestern Kentucky
Nature offers many forms of beauty; the 'best' depends on what we seek at the time and how open we are to different terrain.
(Want to visit Vancouver and Montana; both look amazing, as does the Grand Canyon.)
