Use the Memory Advisor Tool at crucial.com. It will tell you exactly what kind of RAM you need, and then you can buy it from eBay or anyplace else you prefer.

you need to check the TYPE & SPEED not the size!!!!!

this infromation about ram is usaly with labtop spicfications when you buy it if lost it or dont have it, just go IBM.com

after you know the type and speed you can search for best price.

chek wheter your laptop supports ddr ram or sd ram
if ;you are sure of one of the kind then you can well buy it

you need to see if you need DDR or SDRAM these come in SODIMM (laptop memory)
