I do not know about castration but they did put them into the camps too. They also made them have intercourse with woman.

Not sure, but I know that they were one target of Hitler's regime, including Jews, Gypsies, and political opponents. Some of the concentration camps also experimented with forced sterilization.
Sad, horrible stuff...one of the worst of human evils that should have been stopped far sooner...
