i mean for me its just a music style just like hip hop,reggae,tango or whatever. why se dont say "Tango culture" for exemple ?

Pop culture refers to 'popular' culture. It's an abbreviation for anything that is currently popular. Popular music, or pop music, just means what is getting the most airplay to the most people right now. Usually that's easy listening.
