my nails were the shortest of the short. then by putting fake nails on them all the time they grew really long but were really thin.It took me 1 month for them to grow and i was so proud because they were the longest they had ever been on me. so after that i brought Sally Hansen nail harder, strengthener and grower. that was working.one day i got angry and bit them all off again. i was wondering how long will they take to grow back and will the Sally Hansen make them quicker to grow?

the nails grew faster when you had the fakes on there because they were protected from any wear and tear that may have damaged them. they will take longer to grow but be patient it will take time to get the old nails grown off all that damage will keep them from getting long cuz they will be weak. you can put all kinds of stuff on them but remember to use a cuticle oil or cream to help keep them flexible so they will bend a little instead of break off. good luck!!

Haha that's totally me. It takes mine about 2 weeks of sheer torture of not biting them to get the tips just to the end of my finger. But everyones nails grow at a different rate. It wont hurt to use that nail strengthener, especially if they're thinned from the acrylics.

I gave up trying to have nails cause it's so long to grow, a second to bite them off.

There is nothing you can do to change the rate of nail growth. If it took a month to grow two millimeters last time, it will take a month to grow two millimeters next time.

I would personally suggest getting some thumb sucking/nail biting treatment from your local pharmacy to stop you from putting them in your mouth. I also suggest prenatal vitamins and/or extra calcium in pill form along with orange juice to help you digest the calcium in order to help your nails become stronger.

If you bite your nails, spray the nails with pepper spray. This will automatically prevent you from biting your nails further. More cheap and natural remedies for nail care at the link provided.
