We are going at the beginning of March and was curious what your experiences were. Was it nice? Were the rooms spacious? I value individual reviews better than simple online stuff. Thanks, guys, this is my 1st trip to Vegas.

Harrah's is great. It's not of the newest theme casinos, but it is great anyway. Be sure and see all the statues. The food is the best in Vegas. After eating buffet after buffet with so-so food, we had a real meal at Harrah's of steak and I had a hamburger, the best ever. The slot machines seem looser there too. Try to go downtown at least once while you are there. It is very strange to walk around city streets with a roof over you. And the casinos down there are older and the slots are great. Have fun, I am jealous.

I can't speek directly about Harrah's but we did stay at the Paris which is part of the Harrah's group, and connected to Harrah's, (If I rember correctly).
We had a good time and the stay was enjoyable. We did not rent a car but then my brother picked us up at the airport, grab a taxi. If you get the Double Duce pass to use as transportation up and down the Strip it will only cost you $5 for 24hr pass per person. I enjoyed the interaction with the other people. Make sure you get into see the Cir Que De Soliel OR Celine Dion, your trip will be unforgetable. Bring some comfortable walking shoes and enjoy the Strip, they have a lot of neet shops to visit and walking in the casinos is a big part of the place. I had a Bleast on the Manhattan Express, grad a ride if you can! Go up the Eiffel Tower and watch the Night show of the Bellagio Fountains. Bring a lot of film. Hope you enjoy your stay!
Viva Las Vegas!
edit: Also Grab a ride to the Freemont Street Experience, very cool to watch and some of the older casinos are down there.

I have stayed at harrahs and enjoyed it just fine. They are not the best hotel on the strip, nor are they the worst.
I would definitely stay there again if I received a good rate. I define a "good rate" as < $60 weekdays and < $120 on weekends.
I think Harrahs is worth that.
Oh on a side note, be sure to visit Harrah's carnival court bar and order one of those tall rum filled drinks (not sure of their name but they cost $20 and are worth every penny. They pour in like 3 shots of each kind of rum and is mighty tasty!)

I live in Vegas, and Harrah's is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I I love the rooms, and the staff, food , and atmosphere are great. Let me give you a tip to a little known secret, at the Frontier, they have a room called a parlor room with a pull out bed in the wall for 49.99, and you think you are going to get a smaller room with less amenities, but , wow this room is a mini suite , with a palatial sized living room , kitchenette, and sunken 3 ft. tub, with a mini bar, and access to the pool area, via two big sliding glass doors. On the 1st level , of course.

I've never stayed at Harrah's, but they have one of the most fun bars in vegas. Its the Carnival Bar, its outside and the bartenders flip the bottles and do crazy tricks. They have live bands going through out the entire day and it''s very fun! I want to go!

We stayed there once and the room was nice. I don't care for that hotel vs others I have stayed at but the room rate was nice when we stayed there and that's why we did. The room was kinda plain and simple with no upgraded amenities like flat panel TV or pillowtop betting. just a ncie clean room in a good hotel in a good location on the strip.
