How regular are your meals? That would be the first step. Try to get the normal three meals at regular times. Eat a good breakfast in the morning. Eat a light lunch and eat a reasonably nutritious but not overly heavy dinner sometime between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

If you exercise daily try to work that into a regular schedule as well. Try to do everything about the same time of the day. Allow for some variation, but not a lot.

Exercise is really a good way to help get your sleep hours regular. Try to get up earlier regardless of when you get to sleep. You are getting 10 hours of sleep at a time, which is good, but regular hours will take discipline.

Same here, some nights are better than others and I'm not one for the drugs. I've started getting up at 4am (crazy, I know) and I work out then. By the time 10:00 rolls around, Im exhausted and sleep like a baby now. Just a suggestion.

if you really want to work at a regular sleep habit, try elimating all caffeinated products at least 2 hours before bed. keep your room dimly lit, take the TV out of the bedroom, and warm your body with a relaxing bath or shower.
exercise more during the day and try Melatonin or other natural sleep aids found in the local pharmacy.
see your doctor if these suggestions don't work.

same problem. I always been up late. I can go lay down and feel more mind awake than before. Sometimes I work out just to get tired. Melatonin sometimes helps. But you have a window/timeframe to go to sleep. research it. I finally just accepted the fact. Now I schedule late night work. Ebay packaging, listing prep. Right now I'm getting some music ready for my brother. He's gonna be laid up for awhile. But his ears still work. I always thought it was kinda stupid for everyone to be on the same schedule anyway.7 and 8 am on the road sucks. I choose not to participate in that one.

you could try non-addictive sleeping pills. Simply Sleep by tylenol for instance helps me. but read the instructions. talk to a counselor if you can. Exercise, eat right. Use your bed only for sleep, not for other activities. And don't do any vigorous activities such as paying bills or heavy concentrating one hour before bed.
