No, but when I was younger I had read this book on the way home from a Christmas vacation about people that used to put wreaths on their doors when people died in that house. When we got home, all the houses around us had already taken their wreaths down except of course for our house. I made a joke that there was a wreath on our door so someone must have died. Not an hour later my stepdad got a call that his brother had died of a heartattack that day. Then my stepdad had a really bad heartattack (from the news) and almost died. To this day I refuse to make the connotation of a wreath being on the door to a death in the family.

I think that all of us dream of our loved ones from time to time. Our lives are precious, but they will always come to an end. Humans are blessed (or cursed) with an intellectual awareness that allows us to foresee our own death and those of the ones we love.
But we also live in a culture that fails to acknowledge the reality of death. Our awareness of it may create a subconscious fear that comes through in our dreams.
I have never had a dream of a family member's death that came true the next day. But I have sometimes dreamed of a loved one's terminal illness and eventual death, which occurred in time.

I haven't dreamed about it, but once, I was going home from school, and I started thinking about how my grand grand father had died, and I pictured my friend comforting me. I have no idea why this came into my mind, but when I came home, they told me that my grand grand father had died (while I was at school).

no, but i always have dreams where bad things happen and something relatively close happens within a few days. Or i will have weird feelings that happen almost immediately after i have them.

never had, but i have dream about my proffesor teaching us in an hospital and the other day he landed at the hospital's ICU
