Yes, it's definitely appropriate for 13-year-olds, though some of the scientific data may be a bit difficult for them to follow (depending on their educational and comprehension level, of course). Many schools are using this film as the basis of discussion groups and class projects on slowing global warming and protecting the enviroment. As long as you let kids know that the global warming situation isn't hopeless and that there's a lot we can do as individuals and as a society, they shouldn't come away from the film feeling hopeless or overwhelmed.

Yes, it is definitely appropriate. It is not anything too scary or graphic or "adult" at all. It may be a little over the head of a 13 year old, though. There's a lot of technical, scientific things incorporated in the film that I even found hard to understand, or boring at times, but it is still a worthy documentary, and very informative.

I watched it and I don't remember anything inappropriate for that age group. The discussion and details may be a little advanced depending on the person, but the way it is portrayed is actually quite easy to follow. And I think it would be good for anyone to view due to the importance and relevance of the subject.

Let them have carefree fun at that age. Wait until Highschool to drag out the gloom and doom. Innocence lost.
