Bigamy.

Its a Federal offense as stated under the 1862 Morrill Act Of The Bears and the later DOMA. (Defense of Marriage Act).

Typically this is a states issue (both NV and CA outlaw it) so you are violating both state and federal laws.

Best advice you will get is to find a lawyer and fast.

Yes, Bigamy is not legal in any state, you need to get a divorce from the first marriage or get the second one annuled. There are lots of issues with taxes and some states will even jail you. Including Utah (( I know because I live in Utah ))

enable me turn this around: If 2 men or 2 women human beings want to get married, why do they care what you, I, the government or everybody else thinks? there are a lot of innovative churches or liberal justices of the peace which will carry out the ceremony. they could flow forward and alter into married; it basically should not be legally regarded in maximum states. it is not comparable to a collection of state and federal regulation enforcement brokers are going to attend outdoors the door for the two one in each of them back out. that may no longer approximately marriage; this is approximately forcing human beings to renowned the marriage. And what organisation is it of yours if I do or do no longer know it?

Yes, you can go to jail. A second marriage isn't legal unless the first one is divorced. Make good choices. Good luck.
