I have an extensive backround in the restaurant business, and am looking for a new city to go to. Any suggestions?

well, I live in Springfield, MO. It supposedly has the most restaraunts per capita of any city in the nation, and I would believe it. Many of the big chains will send their test menu items to Springfield before anywhere else. And everyone here is willing to give any place a chance. I have worked at several differnt restaraunts here, and all of them do a very good business if the food is decent, and the prices are great. It would mainly depend on what genre of food you are looking to enter. Fine dinning does not always do so well out here, and we are full of Chinese food. In my opinion, what this city needs is a very good privately owned Italian joint, or a nice European variety pub. Good luck.

From my own, experience as well as statically,

Philadelphia, PA, and/or Atlanta, GA

Have been labeled the most generous tippers in the nation, at an average tip of close to 20%.
(per Zagat Survey's 06/07 Restaurant guide).
