Lok sabha is the house of the people
all money bills originate only in Lok Sabha
Only Lok sabha can initiate impeachment motion
it has more members thus in joint session it will have a better advantage
the function of the parliament is to make laws,control finance,control govt.and it can impeach Prez and other Judjes
It elects Prez and Vice-Prez and Its speaker

lok sabha is superior than the rajya sabha in the following ways :-
a) an ordinary law can be passed by both lok sabha and the rajya sabha but a money bill can only be passed by rajya sabha .
b) when there is a clash between the lok sabha and the rajya sabha over a decision , then a meeting takes place in which members of both the houses sit together . Due to the larger number of members in lok sabha , it's decision is likely to prevail in these kind of meetings

The function of Indian Parliament is to make laws and such other things which are meant for the welfare of the people of India. The Members of Parliament voice the concerns of the people of India in the Parliament and try to get the grievances of the people resolved. Lok-Sabha is superior to Rajya Sabha because the members of Lok-Sabha are directly elected by the electorate, which comprises of the citizen's of India, whreas the members of Rajya-Sabha are elected by members of State assemblies. Thus the election of a member to Lok-sabha is direct, whreas that of a member of Rajya-Sabha is an indirect one.

our Parliament does not function for most of the days and generally majority of the members remain absent Its only when increase of pay and perk of members comes there is full attendance and un opposed voting.
The answer is very simple.Lok sabha at least contains members elected on 15 to25% votes polled but Rajya sabha has only all back door recommendations of the government in power

lok sabha is more superior just because the members are directly elected by the people of india where as the members of RS are indirectly selected.the function of parliament is passing laws and bills and if needed ammendment of the constitution
