i need it for a 5 min presentation, if you can add sth to it.. that would be great thanks
beside the topic is: the most influential person, or people in your life...
this is what i wrote:


Who has been the most influential person in my life? There are more than one. As I stepped into new situations, I have encountered new people, and each one has taught me a new, unique lesson. However, for some of us there are individuals who impact our lives in greater ways than we could ever hope.
In my life, those people are my parents: my father, for his great caring heart, honesty, and tolerance; and my mother, for her kindness, morality, and strength as a feminist. They have become my pattern.
Even though I haven’t learned everything they tried to teach me, I have tried to apply the values and principles I learned from them, and that has helped me in situations that arose in my life over the years. Even now, my parents remain a guiding influence in my life.

You may add that when you become a parent yourself,the values that you were taught ,you will teach it to your children,so they will become good human being. You might want to mention the fact that people can be influential in both positive and negative ways. Is there anything negative that your parents have ever done that you have learned from?

The only thing I would do is mention specific things that your Mother and Father did to help influence you. You have laid a very nice framework for youir presentation. Your parents should be proud of you.
