Verizon doesn't use sim cards. Not even for prepaid phones. Verizon is CDMA, not GSM.

Verizon doesn't use SIM cards. If you got a prepaid PHONE and called in the serial #s they MAY be able to switch your service over to the repaid phone. But I would check 1st cause not all are compatible. No switching SIM cards though. Go to AT&T for that one.

Verizon wireless uses CDMA technology on their cell phone network so all their phones do not use any SIM card. Only cell phone network that uses GSM technology like Cingular, T-Mobile, and Nextel require sim cards on their phones.
