Did the military do the right thing in Get-mo by keeping people there for years without a hearing or a lawyer? Many were innocent. The military had hidden places where they took prisoners and tortured them not knowing if they were involved or not. Maybe someone should figure out who the terrorists are so we can fight against them. Should we include the Saudi Arabians? They seem to be paying Iraq's side of the war and then selling oil to us. Are they terrorists or not?

Are we not already fighting the terrorists, however ineffective that may be? Only thing is that we need to draw up some dos and donts, for making the fight more effective. The following are some of the measure that we may consider taking:-
1) Never negotiate with the terrorists, for any cause.
2) Never accept any demands of the terrorists.
3) In instances like hijack, it should be our policy not to cede their demand, for the sake of saving the lives of the trapped people. We need to fight them at any cost.
4) We need to have stringent laws to deal with the terrorists apprehended by the police.

Not according to the Democrat party . They risk our nation rather that "allow" George W. Bush to be right ; especially in light of the fact that he is actually cleaning up after the Clinton's . It's a wonder we had any military left after many Democrats in office voted to dismantle our military . If they would only stop waging this war against the War on Terror . It's one thing to fight terrorists ; and another when American Communists fight democracy by giving aid & comfort to the enemy ; and do nothing to help our side .

Itz always been talk and talk and more talk. In the end the outcome remains the same - more and more and even more people are getting killed because of terrorism !
Our politicians are gutless and shameless to protect their own innocent citizens. Instead they want to pander to Musharraf's antics and grab votes from the huge Muslim vote bank. How many years do we want to discuss this issue ? Another 25 years ?
One day it will all have to end - just like the Punjab issue. Instead, nobody wants to really solve the issue one way or other.

When and where would it end, then? Besides how could you point out a terrorist? I doubt they would be shopping at La Senza or Wal-Mart. Our leaders who are in charge should be educating and understanding each other, accepting our differences, and doing everything possible to keep peace. They are ones who say lets fight or let's work together.

Of course we should fight against terrorists. But there were no terrorists in Iraq until we went there. So in essence we created terrorists in Iraq.

Terrorism can be demolished only through literacy! the existing members cannot be turned good just like that.. we can rely on next generation, i think one of the solution is to make 100% literacy along with some spiritual knowledge,as how to analyse good and bad. it is in the teen age we tend to make mistakes very easily... so if we target on correcting the TEENs in soft ways(this is important, coz when we are hard on them, their mind thinks in opposite way) rather that correcting the existing terrorists!

Take the gloves off and quit trying to fight a PC war. As the old saying goes "fighting is not nice....so why fight nice".

Before fighting terrosism, we must know the cause of it.
As per my opinion, the causes are enamities among the countries, enamities and disasatisfaction among factions of society.
Unless we resolve these issues, terrosism cann't be stopped.
