If you had to label Gene Wilder with only ONE role that he's played in his long, colorful career, who would it be and why? Frederick Frankenstein? Willy Wonka? Someone else?

I would label Gene Wilder as a great comic actor who had a way of tickling my funny bone without being laugh out loud hilarious if you catch my meaning. His defining roles in films like "The Producers," "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory," "Silver Streak," "Young Frankenstein," "Blazing Saddles" and the other 3 films he did with the late, great Richard Pryor showcase his comic skills at their peak. His role in Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" especially show us the genius behind the clown full of nervous energy.

I love both of those movies. Add Jim (The Waco Kid) from Blazing Saddles and Skip Donahue from Stir Crazy.
