yes, actually i did type it wrong, its x^4-13x^3+36, sorry.

4*9=36
4+9=13

x^4-13^3+36
=(x^2-4)(x^2-9)
=(x-2)(x+2)(x-3)(x+3)



remember
a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b)

Is this written correctly? If so, then use your calculator and cube 13 and add it to 36 and see if you can factor from there.

x^4 - 13^3 + 36 =
x^4 - 2233 =
(x^2 + 47.255)(x2 - 47.255) =
(x + j6.8742)(x - j6.8742)(x + 6.8742)(x - 6.8742)
