its not going to hurt the baby but if you do it may cause the baby to spit up more since you will be moving him/her around a bit...its best to bathe baby before you feed then when baby is done he/she will be ready for a nap/bedtime...it works better that way, for both you and baby!

Baby's tend to suck in air when they're exposed to physical sensation... like wind when you're outside (cover their little heads up, folks!) and being in the water. They get excited or upset from the bath water (depending on if they love it or hate it!) and, in either case, will gulp air. This is normal, but can cause a just-fed baby to spit up or vomit up the whole feeding.
Best to bathe, then feed.

I am almost a Doula (one more birth)
It's better to bathe baby before a feeding, as long as she/hes not too hungry. Too soon after a feeding may make her uncomfortable and she may spit up.
It is a comfort thing. But it is also recommended in articles on SIDs. I have not seen anything that would cause more then spitting up.
Good luck and congrats!

I sometime feed my little one before his bath and he can vomit sometimes. But most of the time I bath first and feed second.

no bathe them then feed them it will put them to sleep that way and yes they will vomit if you do it. if a midwife told you not to you should really listen to her she did go to school for that subject i think she knows what she is talking about

There is no set RIGHT way to go about it.
But in theory, it would be best to bathe then be fed as then bub isnt being rocked around.
