Multiply both sides by 5x and you get 2 = -50x
Divide both sides by -50 and you get -2/50 = x or -1/25 =x

do you mean
2/(5x)=-1 ? multiply both sides by 5x
2=-50x divide both sides by -50
x=-2/50=-1/25=-0.04
x=-0.04

or
(2/5)x=-10?
multiply both sides by 5/2
x=-10*5/2=-25
x=-25
