Please HELP ME ASAP, and please no silly or joke responses. What is the term of a friend who would always want to get help and values your friendship but when asked for help they would create excuses or say things like "who cares, you're stupid", even though it's the same type of problems that they ask me. To the point not to ask about health issues. There MUST be a term. SOMEONE, please! Helpe me with this one ASAP. Yes....NOW :(

GUYS IM SERIOUS, what is the real term used for this type of friend. I am not asking for advice to keep them or not.

Let's say I like having this friend, he is a great friend, but all he does is talk about his problems and when I start with mine, it "oh I have to go" . I like the guy. I don't care for the lack of reciprocation. I just need a RIGHT term for such a phenomenon, psycholically? English wise? I know there's one but cannot seem to find it!!! Please, an informed answer would be great and give you a full rating. Thanks

A "fair weather friend"....someone who is around when things r good and going his way, but turn and run when someone else has a problem and needs his help. I`ve had a so called friend like that once, but I never valued her friendship, `cause I knew she was a false friend.

first of all thats not a friend. but the term we use in our little corner of the world is ............ a user..........or.........a waste of time.
as in the friend you are talking about is a user. someone who takes and takes and yet gives nothing in return. he is a waste of time.
sounds like you need to cut this person loose and find a real friend. sorry.
