There are a plethora of movies which are worth mentionning because everyone has a favorite. I can tell you now that one movie which brought many emotions is Crash (2005).
This movie delves into the lives of seperate people but brings them together in a large network of interaction, events and untimely ends. I really recommend this movie. Well worth shelling out a few $$ for this.

I would have to go with the movie "The Butterfly Effect" with Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart. That movie alone tests your mind and leaves you with never-ending questions that are impossible to be answered. The movie beyond it's message is worth watching. I suggest you watch it. if you like a good thriller movie. watch the special features after the movie and the alternate ending. enjoy!
