Call Time Warner at 888-TW-CABLE to find out for sure. I have Direct and MLB already :)~
So far, no deal has been completed but it looks like Direct will get the exclusive on it. John Kerry is trying to get involved and take the deal to congress but I doubt it will help. Cable could've purchased the rights and chose not to, they want congress to force MLB to make a cheaper offer to cable and, while that sucks for about 75% of baseball viewers, it would violate free trade to block the deal. And I thought the world ended when I had to listen to Joe Theisman after ABC lost Monday Night Football...

It is not illegal what Directv and MLB are doing. It would be illegal to black out your local games, but in reality, you have no rights to games outside your market, unless it is on broadcast television (fox, nbc, abc, and cbs). I don't agree with it, but that is just the way it is.
