He said we initally invaded the Middle East to oust Osama Bin Laden and Al Queda but, once there, he changed the agenda to getting rid of Hussein and finding the evil WMD (like we dont have any of those). Now he's on the rampage against Iran... and Bin Laden is STILL at large!!
How long are we going to believe this fairytale? Bush lied to the world and about half of us STILL believe it!
Do YOU?
Can you imagine the effect this will have on our country after Bush leaves office?
I'm kinda afraid.

Dont misunderstand, I know how evil their ways are but, maybe they think the same about us...I dont see them coming over here trying to correct our way of life to fit their ideals. When is enough enough? When will OUR troops start protecting US instead of everyone else?

Such simple thoughts. Ask yourself: Are you making a statement to your crowd, or do you really want an answer? Are you only after Osama bin Laden? Is he your single shallow goal?

Do you think we should be one for one? Life isn't about equality. Life changes. It's flexible, and we move forward. Did you ever play football or baseball? Was your game plan exactly the same each time?

They would come over here to correct our way of life BECAUSE of their ideals, but they can't thanks to Homeland Security. The whole point is for us to convert to Islam. If you want to dwell on one point, you might as well stump the priority. You're cannon fodder to the terrorists if you don't learn and grovel to Islam remember, infidel?

We have a stable country. Our country is healthy. We have freedoms many middle eastern people don't even know about. Those countries ARE NOT stable. Many in the region are not. Those countries MUST NOT have nuclear capabilities because they are not run by stable governments. Don't lie to yourself and think they are anything like we are, or that because we are different, we should respect another culture. You do not allow people to kill you. They want you to convert to Islam.

Our troops protect us already. I know this may seem complex because the troops are over there to bring the battle away from our continent, and to increase the infrastructure of the Iraqis. The point is that if people are no longer suffering in poverty - they own something - they will have something to lose, in contrast to desperation and not having anything to lose. Think of the homeless. What stake do they have? What would they do for money? (Don't get off of the subject blaming the US for the homeless now.) When you bring a country into a middle class standard of living, they have something to protect, and therefore will avoid helping the terrorists. They will be able to lean less on the mysticism of religion, and more on earning a living. They can't do it with murders around every corner. Use your imagination to consider what they are living with and how we will suffer the consequences if those murderers could get into our country.

I'm glad you asked. I hope you look around, away from your circle to explore with an open mind opposing lines of thought. Query both sides of the battle.

When more and more of the truth comes out, the more we have to worry about. Bush allowed the Constitution to be walked on when he started tracing phone calls, having secret holding places to torture prisoners in Europe, keeping innocent people for four or more years without a hearing, a lawyers, nor even being charged with a crime. We had a budget surplus prior to Bush taking office and neither of the Clintons were found guilty of anything. The Republicans were just trying to keep the Clintons from being able to take any action. To start a war without a justifiable reason, lying about WMDs in Iraq, and then having no plan for the war does not show any significant intelligence.

Bush made many promises to citizens and now we discover that there is no money for education or health care, or any of his other promises. Now the country is in debt for billions of dollars and none of the U.S. has had any help for the problems here. What happened to illegal immigrants going back? Fixing our failing super structure, roads, water, education, energy and Bush's decision to ignore ecological problems. Our grandchildren will still be paying it off.

Of course they came over here trying to change our culture...they sent airplanes into buildings and wanted to do it to the White House.
I believe they had WMD and moved them to Syria and if we let up they will go to bin Laden to use against us again.
I believe the President is doing what he sees fit and there are many things we don't know about that he has to deal with.
If we get out now things will be worse than they were before. I have a cousin over there and would love it if he were home but I am proud of his service. He believes we should be there and he should know.

Are you saying that you do not believe that the President of Iran says what he means to say?
You evidently know nothing of what is happening in the Middle East or its history of conflict and genocide.

I, too, am afraid of what will happen when Bush is gone. Will we get someone who won't stabilize Iraq and will allow our enemies free run to attack us and then treat the terrorists like our own domestic criminals are treated ?

Be afraid of Putin. Be afraid of Iran and al Qaida. Read about radical Islam and jihad.
Try "Future Jihad" by Walid Phares. It has a short, concise and understandable history along with an explanation of the beliefs and the roots of terrorism along with what future plans may be.

I have to question your motives for running down virtually the only President to take on terrorism since America was first attacked ( under the Clinton White House ) . G.W. Bush has kept our economy better than the best of times under Clinton . How do you say a word about President Bush , after believing , with a straight face , ANYTHING that ever came out of the mouths of the Clinton's ? The First Lady Clinton was indicted ; President Clinton impeached ; there are so many illegal & controversial campaign fund issues between the Clinton's that it would take a whole day or more to name them all - and sort the communists from the cons . And that's just the tip of the ice-berg . If pardoning FALN terrorists who set off bombs in the U.S. didn't scare you - maybe you should have a talk with the NY Police Detective who lost an eye by the bombs from people that Clinton pardoned . And go figure..N.Y. rewarded Mrs. Clinton for the crimes of her husband ..by electing her to the Senate . That's the stuff that makes me afraid . Don't rag on a good man while he's protecting America . No one else was man enough to take on the job !

I believe George Bush believes what he says, and that he truly believes he is doing the right thing. I do not, however, believe Bush truly understands the complex situations in the Middle East, how to run a war, or how to get us out of one. He has had to rely on advice from others, and it is the information coming out of those folks I have a major problem with.

I and many, many others feel the same way. He needs to cease his crooked mouth and leave us out of Iran. You remember Katrina in New Orleans, with all the devastation and the people that needed emergency help, five days later he flew over it . I think he went back later, for what? Some of the ones that lost everything they had, along with the Gulf Coast in Mississippi., as of today they still have nothing!
Nothing but lies & empty promises.
