MY LAP TOP IS FROZEN IN A GOLF GAME.I CANT GET TO DESKTOP.I TRIED (CTRL,ALT,DELETE).I ALSO TRIED (ESC) AND ALMOST EVERY OTHER KEY.I COULD UNPLUG IT,BUT IT MIGHT NOT BE SAFE THAT WAY...HELP

I have the same toshiba use the power key on upper right near screen hold down till power off, I've done it many times.

Hold down the on/off button OR Unplug and remove the battery. When it restart it will say "Windows shut down incorrectly" (Something like that) and it do a "ScanDisk, just let it do whatever and restart.

hold down the power button for about 5 seconds or until the system just turns off. make sure to not skip disk checking when you reboot if it does ask you.

See that power button on the laptop?
Press on it and your computer will shut off.
Just restart it and run check disk

just hold the power button down until it turns off. it will probably restart in safe mode. so you'll be fine. or if you really really don't want to do that, call geek squad and see what they say

it is ok to unplug it...


dont worry... it is doing much more harm frozen then the remote chance of doing any hard to your drive and spindle... worse case would be you would need to replace the drive.
