You can't win a war on terror. Terror is a concept. So the answer is no: Liberals cannot win the war on terror. Neither can conservatives.

No way can the liberals do it, and right here is an example:
"The first thing they would try is diplomacy, which is the only way to stabilize such a conflict."
What the foolish libs cannot get in their brains (too full of welfare programs that keep the poor where they but make them vote liberal) is that this is a war like no other we have fought before. Take WWII, we were not fighting Germany and Japan because their religion demanded it (the Nazi regime forbade religion as it was). These people are attacking us because they feel that is what their religion is telling them to do. It is right along the lines of what Britain fought in her own country for many years, which BTW is why they were so successful in Basra. They knew how to fight terrorists. These people will use their own children as walking bombs!! Are you so dim to think that someone of that frame of mind would respond to diplomacy? More than once they have said that if we do not attack them there, they will simply come here. See these quotes:
God's curse be upon the infidels! Evil is that for which they have bartered away their souls. To deny God's own revelation, grudging that He should reveal His bounty to whom He chooses from among His servants! They have incurred God's most inexorable wrath. An ignominious punishment awaits the unbelievers.
Q 2:92-6*
Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate.
Q 9:73*
The strict islamists refuse to believe that anything that falls within the Koran is not true and should not be followed. THAT is why they attack us. You can go to the table with them, promise to leave Iraq and never even say the word again, but until the United States and other western countries are Muslim counties, the terrorism will continue. Pelosi and friends aren't going to believe it until some Islamist puts a stick of dynomite in her skirt.
Thank God the majority REPUBLICAN government up to now has thwarted many attacks. The libs would hand over the country in order to power. No, they cannot win the war. They are too weak.

There is no war on Terror. Think carefully man. Turn off Fox News for a second and think. Who are the Terrorists? Really. How would you defeat them? Genocide? Come on can't you see the trees through the forest. It like the WAR on DRUGS is a sham. The powers that be needed a new and more obscure enemy to replace Communism. Terrorists are now any faction from a poor third world country that wont kowtow to the Mighty force of the UNITED STATES. Kennedy stated that a true and lasting peace on Earth could not be a Pax Americana(Look up the meaning) The war on Terrorism could only be won if we all refused to be terrorized but the Government doesn't want that they want us afraid so we will continue to write them a blank check to keep us safe. On the streets it is called a Protection Racket.

Forget liberal vs. conservative. It is a fallacy to divide us. To manipulate us into believing we have a choice. They are all socialists determined to usurp power.
The war on terror is a hoax to destroy the constitution. If it were a fact then the borders would have been closed immediately. It was a fraud to rally the country against it's own basic laws protecting freedom.
9/11 was an inside job. The evidence is too abundant and irrefutable. I despise socialism. Communists and Fascists are both socialists. Democrat and Republican voters are both supporting socialists of one kind or the other. They operate very similarly to two opposing crime families in an organized crime syndicate. The elections are fixed by rigging the voting machines. Ever wonder why the elections are so close these days? In other countries also the elections are very close. Italy and Mexico for example.
Only 8 people control the major media in the United States.
Restore the constitution or be enslaved beyond what can be imagined.

Of course not. They have proven this already. They can't even support the votes they made to fight terrorism in the first place. If you can't see the potential for terrorism in Iraq, your blind. It blows me away how fast people forget that these fascist terror groups want us DEAD if we don't completely change our way of life in the free world and follow their radical religions. The liberals pretend to have a "forgive and forget" attitude, not wanting to support the fight against this problem just to make President Bush look bad in order to help their own political campaign. Watching this on the news makes me sick. They have not attempted to answer this question and don't plan too until they get into office. This attitude is going to bite them in the *** in the future if they don't get something done.

No, of course not. But that hardly matters when the chosen Republican is a dope. There is always hope that things will get better, but it is plain that this war was a cluster-flop from the beginning. Did Bush lie? Let us put that more generically--are politicians full of --it? Right, moving on. I hope that those of you who purchased the books written by the generals who ran the war from the beginning, will go into Barnes & Noble, etc., and demand your money back. Isn't it embarrassing after patting yourself on the back (and doing so in indelible ink) for it to be discovered that in reality you were a moron all along? A sad thing that no one in the future will ever be able to use the phrase, "mission accomplished," without being laughed off the dais.

Omg why do we have to go here with Dem's verses republicans. Who started the war based on lies and deception be a realist don't live in denial. S o ummmm what do u suggest? Why didn't we attack Saudi Arabia? Why did we allow bin ladins family to leave the country?and ummmmm where is bin ladin? Do u think we are winning the war on terror? Its 100 times worse since we invaded a country that had nothing to do with 911. What will it take for people to understand this. Did you hear bush when he gave his speeches and told everyone this. I don't know about you, but I feel for our solders who are in Iraq dying needlessly everyday. So call a spade a spade its George W Bush who declared war and invaded Iraq. The last time I checked he was a republican. And from reports it was said because of this terrorism has increased.

Liberals are the only ones that you can trust to fight and win the war on terror. While Liberals WANT to fight the war on terror, Conservatives support a President that attacks countries like Iraq that have nothing to do with the war on terror. In fact, the war in Iraq has weakened our efforts in the war on terror. Want to be safe??? Support Liberals and their fight on the real war on terror.

ok here is what terror shows in the dictionary.
1. intense, sharp, overmastering fear: to be frantic with terror.
2. an instance or cause of intense fear or anxiety; quality of causing terror: to be a terror to evildoers.
3. any period of frightful violence or bloodshed likened to the Reign of Terror in France.
4. violence or threats of violence used for intimidation or coercion; terrorism.
5. Informal. a person or thing that is especially annoying or unpleasant.
as long as humanity exists all of the above mentioned will continue to exist. can liberals be trusted to fight and win the war on terror? were liberals the ones who told them about the WMD's? were liberals the ones who got a guilible american public to believe iraq had anything to do with terrorism against the US? answer those questions and then you can answer the question of trust. who can we trust? trust in ourselves, not the government. we know what is right, we just have to decide for ourselves.
ok so i think that should answer the question...

NO. The "war on terror" is an on going thing.
Those who want to take over the US will not stop unless we hit them with everything we have. Americans don't have the guts to do this. That's why we are doing what we are doing in Iraq. If we could take them out using our fire power, this would have been over in days or weeks. As a people, we are too kind for our own good.
