Well I am a goal oriented person so I am driven to do my homework but every now and then I skip it to surf the net....The temptation is just to great to pass up.

I would suggest doing your homework first.
When that's out of the way you can surf the net guilt free ...
Not doing homework, or postponing it in favor of internet is going to be trouble. Either you'll have too little time to do it properly, or no time at all.
I've been the guy who did everything but my homework, had quite a few reprimands for it, and only later got my act together.

homework first, try to get at least a "b" grade, then surf the internet or whatever the duece you kids do nowadays

do the homework your future is hard with out an education your grades are important to get in a good college

LOL I usually surf first. Then regret it later when I get my grades and I'm barely passing almost all of my classes... Stupid me....
