i have a 12 gallon aquarium with 10 rasboras how many Otacinclus Catfish would it take to maintain the aquarium
please help

Your best bet is to go get a larger tank perhaps a 20 gal. If that is not an option I would suggest another filter on your tank before adding any fish. Once that's done go get at least 6 otos hoping that 4 will survive the introduction, otos are notorious for losses when first introduced, but 4-6 should do a good job keeping the algae in check.

Ottos actually do best in a small group of at least 6. However, I don't think it'll be wise for you to put in so many as your tank will be overcrowded.
