i am so freaking in love with this show!! i have watched it from the premiere and i can't miss it! my kids and i wont even eat during it, because smacking and sipping our drink makes to much darn noise! my son and i are such fans we actually will discuss this show as if it's real. is it me or does everyone else love this amazing, brilliant, exciting, sci fi action packed tv show!?!?! GOD I WISH I WAS A HERO!! p.s. if you were a "hero" what would you want to be? and what is mr. bennet's past? i think he's one of them!

carlos dont you think it's odd that Hiro in the same episode learned to "rewind" time. and he has been in contact with Hiro. apparently he just needs to be near a person briefly to call up their powers. so i think Peter, in extreme anger is going to rewind time. kind of like a superman and lois lane moment! just you watch!!

I love that show! I only started watching it because I've been following Milo Ventimiglia's career since Gilmore Girls. But, now I'm obsessed with it. I'm usually not into sci fi shows, but this one I really like. I had a friend over when it was on, and we were watching it, and I was recording it at the same time. She asked why and I said I had to watch the parts she was talking during. I'm not sure what power I would want, but I know I wouldn't want to read peoples' minds like Matt, or have a split personality like Jessica/Nikki.

I think it is a good show, and I watch it every week - but it does have shadows of comic book superheroes/x-men/superfriends in it. Fortunately the writers have found new stories that don't resemble the comics at all - and considering the popularity of all the 'comics gone movie' - this was a good time for them to launch this.
Peter is Rogue (however he may yet learn to hold on to the power long-term)
Nathaniel is Superman (flying power only)
Claire is Wolverine (healing power only)
Claire's mom is Sunfire or Firestar (although we don't know if she can fly)
Sylar is a version of Rogue also (- but he is learning how to control it way too well. . .)
The new guy that sylar just killed could have been a version of Magneto.
Nikki - with her alter-ego is Rogue after she 'absorbed' Ms. Marvel.
It is actually kind of fun to watch the show and try and find any of the powers in the X-men - almost a game of "Who does this remind you of." Since I am only a casual fan of X-men, this is fun and I am learning more about the comic book characters.

I love it. I would like to have Peter Petrellis abilities without being mentally unstable and at risk of blowing up. I actually was mad that Sylar kills that nice mechanic lady with superhearing. I was also mad that the painter shot the beautiful ex-girl in the chest and abdomin. Not cool. Are they trying to get rid of the sidekicks.

Lol I would love to be the guy that gets powers by touching the people who have them. I don't remeber his name, but I also really enjoy the show but I haven't watched in a couple weeks.
