He was referring to the young men and woman who enlisted and joined the military after 9-11 to fight the war on terror which is a very small percentage of people from otherwise a slacker generation.

It's just that he is going delusional. I think he should stop watch Sesame Street with all those smiling kids that can recite the alphabet and instead, watch "Prison Gangs" on the Discovery Channel
