The cheapest way to send packages to Vietnam is by Global Priority Express. You will want to add tracking services to the costs, because your package will likely get lost. The best way to guarantee that your package will be delivered to the recipient is by using DHL.

DHL is by far the largest package delivery service in Vietnam. This has a lot to do with the fonder of DHL being a Vietnam Veteran. You will pay quite a bit more than Global Priority Express, but your package is assured to get there.

If you are intending just to send gifts, you may want to use one of the online stores that specializes in this. Here's a short list:

You can get just about anything delivered to friends, family or loved ones in Vietnam without the hassles of sending it from here. One of the online stores will even let you buy a motorbike and have it delivered.

Good luck to you and Happy Tet!

Generally speaking, it depends on the size of the package. If the package is large and/or heavy, UPS is usually the cheapest.

If the item is small or a letter, USPS is usually the cheapest.

I can't give you prices, because it varies widely between shipping services, but I recommend simply going to the post office and asking them for the cheapest rate. They will help you choose the best service and packaging for your budget and needs.
