From the 70s it was Two Out of Three Ain't Bad by Meatloaf, until he came back in the 90s and made a couple more hits. It's still my favorite semi-one-hit-wonder, though. In A Gadda Da Vida by Iron Butterfly isn't bad, but it's very long - over 19 minutes.

There really are a lot of great ones but, Tainted Love by Soft Cell is the BEST....
That song never gets old.... love it..
