Dan, you're an idiot. I really wish that you people you would watch the games before you say stupid s hit. Dirk has the fadeaway, the 3-pointer, great free throw shooter, he can run the floor, push the ball up the court, create his own shots, he's one of the leagues top defensive rebounders, he can back you down, face you up, get in the lane and finish shots, he makes his teammates better, and he's consistently taken and made big-time shots in clutch situations. For a 7-footer, that's a pretty unique skill set.

That said, the best player in the league is Kobe Bryant.

Kobe is 5 for 7 interior the Finals, Dirk is a million for 2. Dirk did a extra special job this final season and actually became a actual presence and a dominating participant that he has no longer been previous in his occupation, whilst a great scorer. Dirk is likewise nevertheless on the upswing, at an analogous time as Kobe is getting older. even nevertheless they're an analogous age, Kobe has 3 hundred greater video games in his knees, an entire 4 seasons greater advantageous than Dirk. For a guy his length, Dirk has by no skill been a double digit rebounder or averaged greater advantageous than a million.5 blocks in step with sport, so he's no longer the protecting participant Kobe is. 5 circumstances, Kobe averaged 29 or greater ppg interior the playoffs, and Dirk has yet to try this. Over his occupation so far, Dirk isn't the franchise participant that Kobe has been. For here few years, Dirk has the skill to be as sturdy, in distinctive procedures, as Kobe, and perchance greater advantageous 3-5 years out.

From that list, it would have to be Kobe. Not judging on pure talent, Kobe is still the best. He is carrying his team. He has to bear with the under-experienced players of his team. Even though, thay are winning. They are winning because of Kobe. He is passing the ball a lot more now. He is making his teammates better.
Unlike Kobe, these other superstars have a fellow all-star on his team. Dirk has Josh Howard (not to mention, Jerry Stackhouse and Jason Terry.) Melo has Iverson, Wade has Shaq and an arsenal of veterans. So you see, it's not about who's better individually, its about how they make an impact on their team (considering the roster, experience, and talent of the players on that team.)

Kobe: I still remember those 81pts last year...he could support presssion and take responsability whatever happens.

D-Wade: he can raise his level in money time and make the difference with brilliant skills

Nash: the 2 time-MVP is not a monster with his stats but just see how does Phoenix struggle without him..

'bout Melo, I disagree cause all coaches don't like his way of playing unless he's the top scorer of the league...

On that list Kobe is hands down the best player. 3 rings, 2 All star MVP trophies, and one of the most fun players to watch.I dont like the Lakers but watching Kobe play when hes on is like watching MJ play back in his prime. 81 people, do we forget. And it wasnt because he was showing off, his team needed those points. But dont forget A.I. :). Best small guard the NBA has seen.

you cant be serious with that question...kobe by far...wade plays no d and does not have a consistent j...melo is nice but also has no d and his passing game is mediocre...dirk as we all know cant play d and like you said is very one dimensional...kb is a better scorer, plays better d, can shoot better than all of them, better passer and is the best clutch player of today
