Adoption agencies use the term "birthparent" to oppress the abused women that they prey on.
The PC terms are - FIRSTMOM, ORIGINAL PARENT, and LIFEGIVER!
Does anyone here think that it is OK to continue to abuse a woman who is suffering by calling her the bword all day?

not biotch, reda the question, now I know this person has some kind of axe to grind, and wants the world to be all touchey feely and Politically correct, but, we all know better, so, here is my answer, if the woman is the person that gave birth to the child, then plain and friggin simple, that is the BIRTHPARENT, go stir up a crap storm somewhere else.

B-word like "Birthparent"? What's so degrading about that? They call (not abused) couple who give away their children for adoption as "BirthparentS". It's not a term specially made for abused women.
