3 months old and you want to try again already? YIKES.

My sister in law fell pregnant with my nephew while feeding my neice.
She found out at 16weeks as she had a gassy tummy.. turns out bub was moving. LOL.

I guess stop feeding bub although ... she still is only little.

Nothing can make them return "quickly".

Don't stop nursing-breastmilk is far better for your child than formula, and now that you've established a good breastfeeding relationship, you're helping your child get the best start she can!

Lactational Amenorrhea (periods that stop during early nursing) is the way that nature helps space children out far enough to make sure that your body can support a healthy pregnancy, without jeopardizing your nursing baby. Very often, pregnancy will make breast milk supply dry up. Your period can return at any time, but very likely will return around six months after birth, when you begin feeding your baby solid food, and begin nursing less often. (The current recommendation for starting solids is six months-before then you risk food allergies and other problems...you can look for information about infant open gut to find out more.) Once your periods come back, it may take time to establish ovulation, and cycles may be different from pre-pregnancy. Hang in there, it will happen soon enough.

The best thing to do is stop nursing...which im sure she wouldnt mind regular formula anyways, its best to do it now though before she gets to attached...IF you wanna get pregnant right away anyways!...good luck and ask your doctor to..they know best!..

stop nursing - this is a natural birth control - as long as you are nursing, you won't become pregnant until your baby is older & doesn't need to nurse as much.
