lakers want kidd and collins in exchange of brown, farmar, picks, but they might need a third team to complete the deal. even brian cook's name is being tossed around on a 3-way trade.

Its all depend on the Lakers willing to give up Andrew Bynum (Sp). That the pretty much the hold out. If Lakers agree to ship him to Net or Net decided to get another player instead of Bynum, then I see the trade be complete. Right now I don't really see its going to happen.

I don't think the trade will go down by the trade deadline tomorrow. I would like to see it happen considering that I am a Laker fan, as long as Kobe, Bynum, and Odom aren't involved in the trade, which they won't be. Hopefully the Nets will accept the deal that has been proposed to them.

Hopefully, yes. The Lakers need Jason Kidd. He would be a great addition to the team. He would boost the offensive department of the Lakers and make every man better. He brings leadership. Kobe would need Jason to make the Lakers real contenders for the title. It would surely take some baggage off of Kobe's back.
I think the Lakers should consider giving up Brown and a first-round pick to New Jersey to get Kidd. It's all worth it. I think they should even give up Andrew Bynum if need be. Kidd brings you triple-doubles almost every night.

If the Lakers throw in Framar, Brown and a couple of 2nd rounders then it might prompt the Nets to pull the trigger.

I hope we(Lakers) can get rid of that useless Brown fellow and get Kidd.. Kwame Brown is absolutely horrible and he was the number one pic... Pretty sad. NO BYNUM IS NOT LEAVING.
KIDD is toward the end of his career and he likes to pass and there wont be a fued between Kidd and Kobe cuz Kobe will even score more and the lakeres would win.

Bynum isn't going anywhere
the nets are lucky to be getting what they can
they'll have all that cap space and draft picks to rebuild
it's not like they are contending for anything
It's not worth it for the lakers if they have to give up Brown though
