Yes, we'll never see that type of talk show again! I remember a show where Burt Reynolds and Dom Deluise were on together and they went berserk with an egg fight...Johnny got involved and it was pandemonium in the studio! And anytime Don Rickles was on always guaranteed a laugh riot! I wish they would release DVD sets of selected shows.

Johnny Carson was great!!!! He single handedly is responsible for many children being conceived!!!! We'd watch him EVERY night he was on! Love when the guy from the zoo brought the animals in...the episode with the baby monkey's was so cute....The saddest one is of him being sung to by Bette Midler when it was his last show. He was responsible for giving her an appearance on his show which launched her career....
I liked when he did the "infomercial" type guy, selling bogus/useless and crazy items, he was funny when he cracked himself up.....And when he had little kids on the show, who made him crack up....He is missed for sure!

Yes I miss him. He was the best! I even went to Nebraska last fall to visit his hometown: Norfolk, Nebraska. Nice little town and they have a museum featuring a lot of Johnny pictures, artifacts, report cards, etc.

I do enjoy David Letterman, he was on after Johnny's show, before Johnny retired, so it was like a double dose of humor for me when I was growing up
I loved when the animals were on and the monkeys would crap or pull on his hair(LMAO!!!!)
