Simple: Get the laptop away [save important things though], and replace it with yourself. Kiss her on the nose if she accidentally wakes up. ;P

Ha! Your girlfriend sleeps with her laptop? Wow. Shouldnt she be sleeping with you instead?! If she doesnt already have a case for it trying buying her one. It will keep it in good condition. Maybe try setting up some sort of station that she can keep her laptop with. Like with CDs or any kind of equipment she likes to use. If she is into photos, set up a desk with photo paper, CDs to burn photos on and a printer etc. specify to her needs and help her get past this.:)

The question is WHY she does that! :) is ther a reason, is she trying to hide something inside from you? I really dont understand a reason someone might be hugging a LAPTOP to sleep LOL

just ask her to turn it off, and come to bed. tell her that it wont go anywhere during the night, and theres no need for her to sleep next to it. if she refuses.........then, you might want PROOVE to her that she shouldnt have the laptop when she sleeps. like show her how much fun reading can be, or watching tv, rather than staring at the computer screen

may be she is not sleeping with it it was her first night getting it and she maybe was downloading something or programs for the laptop and fell asleep
