Our Scout Troop served hot pancakes to the community in the Andrews AFB Chapel Annex for Shrove Tuesday last night. The boys had a great time and everyone seemed to have left satisfied if not Fat!

It was a first for me! Not a first pancake day - but the first time I have ever had frozen pancakes.
I purchased a packet of pre-made, frozen pancakes that you cook in the microwave. Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances that led to me not having the necessary equipment to cook any the good old fashioned way, I thought I would do with the processed stuff.
So, here's my advice to you all - DON'T buy frozen microwaveable pancakes - they're horrid!

Shrove Tuesday great pancakes for tea! Only this year I ran out of time, I knew I wouldn't get home in-time to make any so the day itself was postponed until the following Sunday. but in my lunch-break I bought some chocolates and Tiramisu, well I needed to have a treat of some sort before Ash Wednesday. it was absolutly lovely, delicous! in fact the only thing wrong with it was that I had to share it with two others. Roll on Sunday!
