if you go to ivillage.com you can look at their pregnant bellies pictures of women in different stages of their pregnancies, each women is different, I started to pop out very early in my pregnancies, and then it slowed down. My pants got tight shortly after the little plus sign showed up, and I had to move on to my bigger pants, or transitional maternity pants, that just have a bit of give to them. Everyone is going to give you a different answer, but your belly is going to grow, only your body will be able to tell you how fast or slow it'll grow. But in the end we all measure about the same size, that is why the ob's have a measuring tape and they say yup your measuring right for dates....
Good Luck with everything, and who knows maybe it's twins ;) haha I was big at the begining and it's just one.

This is my first pregnancy too and I was 3 months and not really showing at all. At 4 months I could tell that i was showing a bit but with clothes on no one could tell. Mostly if you can see a bit you could be retaining water, you may notice that it fluctuates. You don't, at least I didn't start showing until about the 5th month. Then there is that awkward in-between stage where we look pudgy, not pregnant. I began to look pregnant at the 18th week, now at 26 weeks it is obvious to everyone.
Good luck to you!!

My first baby, I showed at 4 months. I could still wear jeans if I looped a pony tail holder through them and around the button. My second pregnancy happened when my first one was just about six months old. This time, I had to be in maternity clothes by 11 to 12 weeks! I thought it was just because it was so soon, but actually I had twins!

Usually, women do not start to show until 4-6 months along. But, you may be carrying extra water weight which can cause you to feel bigger. Trust me, after 7-9 months of carry the extra weight..you'll be ready for the baby to be here and the belly to be gone!! Congradulations!!!

I was showing at 9 weeks. It is most likely most noticeable to you and your spouse.
Some women say you won't show til about 4 months... that was THEM. All of our bodies are different.
Of course if you are constipated that may be why your belly looks larger than usual.

I weight the same as you and I am 13 wks and not showing yet. Those that pay attention to me notice that I gained 3-4 lbs. I woulddn't call it showing yet. I agree with others comment. I think it's water weight.
