No, Barry Bonds isn't a cheater. There still hasn't been any solid proof that he may have used steroids. The problem people have with Bonds is that he's one of the best players to play the game, and that he's of color. As for being in the same class as Aaron: He's right up there with him! Leave Barry alone and get over it!

No one has proof that Bonds cheated and yet he gets crucified almost daily about taking performance-enhancing drugs. He said he didn't take them with knowledge of what they were, I have no reason to doubt him. Why? For starters, I wasn't in his back pocket his whole career so who really KNOWS. We can alledge but we dont KNOW. We also must consider that he won 3 MVPs before he allegedly took steroids. Meanwhile known cheaters such as Jason Giambi, who apollolied, get a cult-following. As far as Bonds being in the same class as Aaron, as a player yes. As a player Bonds is one of the best ever. As far as the type of person, Bonds is a totally different type of man that Aaron. Aaron embraced the media and the pressure, went out every day and did his job. Bonds gets mad, lashes out, and then becomes introverted. I'm not saying Hammerin' Hank is better than Bonds as a person, he's just different. We all choose to live our lives a certian way. That doesn't make us worse or better than the next man, just different.

I don't think Hammerin' Hank had over 500 career stolen bases like Barry, so I wouldn't put Hank in the same class as Barry. Also Hank didn't face the 100mph pitchers like Barry. How many times did Barry win the MVP award 3 or 4, how many did Hank have? Interesting how the media slighs the thoughts of zombies with remotes.

Barry Bonds is in no way anywhere near the class of Hank Aaron. He wasted so much natural talent and would have been a hall of famer even without his home run binges. He's a cheater and a poor role model.

Hank Aaron was and always will be a class man and he went through 100 times worse than Barry has and always conducted himself with dignity and grace. Hank Aaron is one of my heroes.

I live in Milwaukee so my opinions might be a little biased but in no way should Bonds ever be compared to Aaron. Not only did Bonds take steroids( come on people the evidence is slapping you in the face) but he is a media whore. He isn't happy unless the camera is on him and doesn't care about his team. When Hank was playing he was all about one thing, helping his team win. Didn't matter if it was a grand slam or a sacrifice fly. Once his days were over, that was it, he faded away and let his play speak for itself. Of course the death threats he received when chasing the career home run record had a little to do with why he doesn't do personal appearances anymore but Bonds doesn't have to deal with stuff like that. Sure Bonds has more stolen bases but that is the kind of player he was before the steroids, and if he wouldn't have used them we would be talking about him breaking Rickey Henderson's career stolen base record instead of Hammering Hanks home run record.

Giants fan here. Bonds has admitted to "unknowingly" take a cream which "helped" him. personally i think its a load of BS because players know what goes in their bodies. but what people dont realize is this. the last time i checked steroids didnt help your hand eye coordination. all steroids did for barry was help him get healthier as he recovered from injuries. believe this, barry bonds had hall of fame numbers before he was caught. so he is a legit HOFer. as for the same class as Aaron. probably not, but we dont know that aaron didnt cheat either. hank doesnt have 500 stolen bases like bonds.

In all my baseball studies..and thats considerable...no player ever got better after the age of 35 except one...and thats Barry Lamarr Bonds. Make your own conclusions. Henry Aaron was and is the model of class for baseball....consistant, modest and reserved. Aaron went out and just played baseball everyday, and everyday for Bonds is a 3 ring circus. The stats, tainted or not are there....but when it comes to class....dont even mention Bonds in the same sentence with Aaron

Barry Bonds isn't qualified to carry Hank Aaron's bats for him. Obviously Bonds accomplished more, because he cheated.

Barry Bonds - Steroids = Bobby Bonilla

Well he never tested positive for steroids, and until he does, I'll think he's the greatest player ever. Remember baseball players arent perfect people. But as far as we know as of right now, Bonds hasnt cheated in a way that would have him banned from baseball, so I'm gonna have to believe that he did not use steroids.
