One thing I will always remember about Kurt Cobain is, when I saw Nirvana perform live in November 1993, at the end of the show he used his guitar to decapitate one of the two (In Utero) statues to the side of the stage. It was the first and last time I ever saw him.

I definitely agree he wouldn't be this big if he hadn't have died. Nirvana definitely had some good songs, but he didn't have the songwriting or guitar playing skills in him to make it that long. Poor guy didn't even have the skills to make it through life. I wish he had survived, because it would have been interesting to see what kind of music he'd put out once he made it through his problems.

The danger of withdrawing too much into yourself and your music. It killed Kurt.

His overrated music and fans. His memory will live on forever, sure...but his music was nothing special, really. He wouldn't be this big today if he was still alive.
