Is my Ipod going to work?

i accidentaly put it in the washer...now (after 2 weeks) it can play music but the screen is all messy like there's lines everywhere

Will it work? and how can i get it to work besides taking it to the Apple store

Sorry to tell you but its shot. water and electronics do not mix and not to mention adding soap.But it's toast

Sorry, you fried it. You'll either have to send it to Apple to get it fixed or get a new one.
